Amy Whitaker Rudenko Memorial Community-Based Residency Award
The Amy Whitaker Rudenko Memorial Community-Based Residency Award is intended to recognize a Virginia Commonwealth University PGY-1 community-based pharmacy resident who during the residency year distinguished themselves through a positive attitude and professionalism, a passion for community-based pharmacy practice, a strong leadership ability, enthusiasm for teaching and service to the community-based and the profession. The former resident and preceptor for whom the award is named, Amy Whitaker Rudenko, Pharm.D. BCACP, personally exemplified the awards criteria.
Residents and site coordinators vote for the awardee in June of the residency year.
