Bio

Kayla Pangilinan, Pharm.D., is the PGY1 resident at Kroger Pharmacy in Richmond. She received a B.S. in chemistry from Virginia Commonwealth University. From there, she spent a couple of years working as a retail pharmacy technician and then returned to VCU to complete her Doctor of Pharmacy.

In addition to community pharmacy, Kayla has a passion for climate health and hopes to make positive changes that will help make pharmacy more environmentally sustainable. As she grows as a professional, she hopes to continue to advocate for the wellbeing of her patients, her community and the planet.
