Introducing Dr. Adwoa Edusei, VCU Community-Based Pharmacy resident with Kroger Pharmacy in Roanoke! She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science University. Dr. Edusei grew up in the Washington D.C. area! Hi, my name is Adwoa Edusei. I am the current pharmacy resident at the Kroger Roanoke site with Virginia Commonwealth University. I grew up in the Washington, D.C., area. My alma mater is Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science University in Boston, Massachusetts. I hope to increase healthcare access and implement new clinical services as an ambulatory care pharmacist in the future. In my free time, I like to do anything creative, whether painting, baking, or decorating. I also enjoy long walks in scenic areas, trying new restaurants, and spending time with loved ones.

Dr. Iryna Kurochka received a Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Pennsylvania State University. She completed her Doctor of Pharmacy at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Kurochka is originally from Ukraine and moved the Philadelphia, PA when she was five. Hello, my name is Iryna Kurochka, and I am a resident at Buford Pharmacy. I am originally from Ukraine and moved to Philadelphia, PA when I was five years old. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Pennsylvania State University, and I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. I hope to learn how to run a clinic efficiently, earn my teaching certificate, and publish my research. In my free time, I like crocheting, reading, exercising, and going on hikes. I also like to try new restaurants in the area and spend time with family and friends.

Introducing Dr. Ally Snapp, VCU Community-Based Pharmacy resident with Bremo Pharmacy! Dr. Snapp grew up in Weber City, VA! She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Lincoln Memorial University and earned her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from East Tennessee State University Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy. Hello, my name is Ally Snapp. I am the resident at Bremo Pharmacy. I am from Weber City, VA. I earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, TN. I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from East Tennessee State University Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy in Johnson City, TN. I hope to be able to learn how to implement new clinical pharmacy services and gain leadership skills during my time in residency with the hopes of bringing innovative services back to my family’s business. When I am not working, I enjoy baking and even have a small mini cheesecake business called Snappy’s Simple Treats. I also enjoy spending time with friends and family and my Goldendoodle, Gus.
